Blood and Mud

June 2020

My debut novel, Blood and Mud, is a girl's heart of darkness set in Mississippi, DC, and El Salvador, The book chronicles the violence, amnesia and fierce love that bind a family together in a multi-generational saga of greed and corruption. It is both a look at the cost of respectability and a tale of redemption, Blood and Mud is available to publish in June 2020.

How often I have lain beneath rain on a strange roof, thinking of home.

About Me

I've been toddling off to hide with my stack of books since I learned to walk. With a few detours for troublemaking and general mayhem, I've been wandering and reading and writing ever since.

From New York City to the rural south, from Madrid to the Central American jungles, from Paris to suburban Maryland, from Pakistan to K Street, I've lived like Tennyson's Ulysses: 'always roaming with a hungry heart'.

Welcome to this portal for my fiction, poetry and general musings.
